A look back...

You know those women who say "I've never felt more beautiful than when I was pregnant."?  I was NOT one of those women!!  Towards the end of my pregnancy the last thing I wanted to see was a picture of myself!! I just so happen to have a BFF and former roommate that is an amazingly talented photographer.  She told me that one day I would look back and want pictures of myself during this amazing time in my life.  Well Nikole - You were right!  Thanks to her wardrobe selection, lens angle and photo shop skills she made me feel beautiful at 33 weeks pregnant!! You are the best Nikole...you had your work cut out for you and I couldn't be more happy with the end result*

One Sweet Month

On October 9th, 2010 our baby girl turned one month old...And the best part is, we all survived!!! In the first few days and weeks I wasn't quite sure we would make it was totally confident that we were doing everything right*  So here's a quick update on life around the Schaller House:

Eric and I have turned into a couple of diaper changing, baby talking, silly noise making, bottle feeding, DVR-ing, sleep walking, Reese loving, baby and puppy snuggling..Fools!!

This month Reese has mastered eating, sleeping, filling the laundry baskets and the sink, smiling, tummy time and snuggling!!  All that two happy parents could wish for in a healthy, happy 1 month old baby!!!

...Did I mention that she has mastered the art of Looking Adorable?  See for yourself*

Mark Your Calendars!!

Our little Reesey Cup slept for 9 hours straight last night!!!! I don't want to get my hopes up that this will be a regular occurance...but a girl can dream right?  Now if only I could sleep through the night...I think I spent most of my time from 3am-7am staring at the monitor, wondering why our sweet little one hadn't woken up yet...

We Love our Reese to Pieces!!

In the search for the oh-so-perfect first Halloween costume we ran across a few bumps in the road.  Between my favorite choices being out of stock and my other options being less than adorable I had my work cut out for me.  Miss Reese and I traveled to our local fabric store and purchased fabric to make her costume:)  Armed with nothing but $5 in felt, scissors and a hot glue gun this is what we came up with.
...And the best part is...next year we can just cut arm holes in the sides and she can wear it again:)
